RE: controller wont work with afp
Perhaps I am dense but please allow me to digress.
Ok. I have the RealFlight G2 USB interface. I also bought the AFP Deluxe. Of course, it came with the USB adapter, which from what I read in the above, has the 'serial' chip installed. So, in order to fly I must have the adapter WITH the chip in a USB port. How am I doing so far? Next, I plug the Realflight G2 USB Interface into another spare USB port. It should work, right?
If so, well, I don't quite know what I am doing wrong because the interface goes into one USB port and the Adapter cable goes into another spare port. All that happens is the AFPD loads up, searching for transmitter then sits there trying to find the transmitter. What, if anything am I doing wrong? What hints did I miss to get the software to load up? BTW, I had been running AFP using the G2 USB interface so I know it works.. somehow. The computer is an Intel P4, 1.8 Gig with 512 Meg ram and, of course, Direct X 9.02 I believe.
Thanks in advance!!
