RE: mah and voltage
If in series, voltage doubles and mah stays the same. If in parallel, voltage stays the same and mah doubles. If you hook them in parallel, you must make arrangements to seperate them for charging as you cannot safely charge NiCad or NiMh in parallel. However, you can discharge them safely in parallel.
