RE: Phoenix Giles BIPLANE!
Well between rainy weather and Madri Gras here we've only
had to chance to get a couple of flights on it since rebalancing it.
As you can imagine, having four fairly large ailerons it's roll rate
can be set to just a blur if you like it that way.
It tumbles very well, great waterfall, snaps crisply, and nice flat
spins. We still have some testing to do and will play some more
with the cg. It won't hover but that would just be asking too much
from the Saito .82, it's doing very well to pull around this 9lb, 6oz
model. All in all, it's a great flying model with the additon of the
second wing.
So if you have an extra wing and like to experiment, give it a shot.
