Hello,
I am new to gyros but I had successful first flight with my autogyro a few days agao.
Check out
www.autogyro.com and make sure your disk and blade loadings are good for the weight and size of the gyro. It could also be your airfoil and or angle of incidence is to negative.
Mine was an ROG take off, hand launching my .40 sized gyro seems very insane to me. You have to make sure your blades are running in full auto rotation, you should be able to hear and see when it happens. From what I know you cant force the gyro off the ground, a 3 second +/- throttle transition and a 5 second +/- wait to get the tail flying (tail dragger) from pre spin and model release maid for a successful flight.
Hope you can get it flying
