I am curious to hear if anyone has flown this thing with the ys 1.10 and the 17x4w apc. I still can't believe the way the plane acted with that combination. It locked into hovers like it just sat in a chair.
I did, as you said, big difference, so big that I took it off for a while as I was dealing with other issues with the UCD. Just some things that I wanted to get ironed out first, before I adjusted my flying abilities to deal with this change. Plane would jump right off the ground with this prop, fell right into a hover with ease. True, slow, high alpha KE. Will be having another go at it once spring rolls around. Looking forward to trying some other manuvers as you have mentioned. Joe
