Just wondering has anyone successfully run a OS La .46 inverted and if so how did you do it. I have one that runs great upright or 90 degrees but inverted, no way. It will run at 1/3 to full throttle ok, but never idle and then accelerate. If the idle goes below 4500 and then throttle up it will die. I have removed it from a new plane for this problem. It is broken in and runs great horizontal or vertical as I have both.

I am using an OS #8 plug, 15 % coolpower and 10x6 or 11x7 prop. I have also tired 10% nitro with no results. I spent 2 hrs trying to get this engine to idle then accelerate but no way when inverted. The fuel tank is on C/L.

I have switched to Saito which I know will run reliable.

Just wondering if anyone has any advise on the La .46. Thanks Jim
