i dont have a simulator, i can almost buy a heli for the money i would spend on one
And you can spend the cost of a simulator fixing just one crash. While you can learn to fly without a simulator, there is no doubt (and most everyone will agree) that practicing on a simulator
will save crashes. Any experienced pilot will tell you that they are well worth the price.
At the very least, I'd recommend picking up one of the free simulators; such as FMS.
