Default Over specific moderation

I've seen an awful lot of forum switching going on recently. With all the new electric forums coming into play things are bound to get confused, but I think that the moderators are going a little bit overboard...

When I want to ask about a motor/gearbox setup for a 3D plane i want to ask electric 3D guys, therefore i post in the electric 3D forum. It gets moved to the motor/batt forum. I dont go there because I dont want to sit for an hour and suggest motors. Because I dont go there other people dont benifit from my experience, and I think that I'm not alone. Likewise when I want to talk about a new plane from 3D foamys I want to talk with people who fly electric 3D, not a bunch of zagi pilots...

This is my thoughts: You guys are trying to do the following: Everything in its place, and a place for everything.

I dont have the time and/or patience to go through 5 forums to get my daily dose of RCU. I want to hop on and be done 10 minutes later so I can get back to other stuff, and this overdiversification is hurting that.

Now i'm not saying to go get rid of half the forums, that would be stupid. Some people are going to enjoy a single forum, and thats where they and other like minded guys are going to hang out. For me thats the 3D electric flight forum. For some it will be motor/batt forums or somthing else.

What I would like to see is this: If there are questions about motor battery stuff for a 3D plane, let it be in the 3D flying forum. If there are pictures or a build thread on a 3D electric plane, regardless of its material and construction, let it stay where it is! If someone wants to talk with the no foam no go guys, they will post it in that forum to start with.

Thats all I have, hope you guys heed it a little, before things get any more out of hand.
