With a comp radio you can bump trim all day long and do no harm as long as power is off. I usually bump mine going in and out of car trunk 7UAFS w/mech trim.
Dragged banners behind a Stearman a few times and flown competition in a S2A at the Nationals one year(novice). Flown a variety from Cub thru CV-580 and DC-3 to one degree or another. Been in a Pitts headed straight down at 100 mph with the stall horn going, that'll get yer heart going like a 10 turn inverted flat spin. Can't play anymore since lost medical, so now I do it with the little ones. Not the same but what can you do? [] Enough crying.
