Default a plus for VMAR

I recently purchased the Discovery ARF trainer for $69. The kit is ok and went together easily. I did not use any of their hardware, instead I used standard nylon clevis and golden push rods. Took of the engine mounts and used one of our own. I have several and can't remember which one I picked, but its common for the .46 mount. Made my own float mounts out of music wire and used Falcon floats.

Fifty plus degrees and mild breeze off Lk. Washington. The tracking was a little off as I think I have too much throw at the rudder and over steered a bit. Once I compensated for it, faced into the wind and first attempt was a piece of cake. A few clicks on the aileron and elevator, and she flew hands off at 1/4 throttle on a not quite broken in OS .46 FX. Landing was easy and as soon as the plane was near shore the engine quit.Throttle setting was too low for idle. That was God sent because I was just turning it around to take off when I glanced at my transmitter and the needle was in the red.
