Any Sim will save you more than the cost of the sim in crash damage. As you become a better pilot and start to attempt more daring manuevers, you will be able to practice and crash 100's of times on the sim. If you were to do the same at the field you might go broke or give up the hobby all together. Think of the Sim as insurance. $200 now or $2000 later.
