What happened from a fairly minor wing tip "brush" was that the fuz tore open behind the rear incidence peg, pulling the peg out. I wondered if a patch of kevlar larger than the wing root area would spread the load across the skin better? It was just a thought. The fuselarge is just amazing in its weight, but I'm not the best of pilots!! The cowl smashed pretty convincingly, but my wheels were too small (as you told me!). A second layer of cloth firmed up the chin a lot (but probably added a lot of weigh up forward).
Oh well, my next one will be perfect! Its a fabulous airplane.
