It's sorta hard to compare a truggy and a monster truck. The Lightning will be more agile, quicker, and most likely a better all around racer. The Revo is the way to go if you wanna race other MTs at the track. With the Lightning you will be thrown into the Unlimited Truck class(I think, please correct me). I have a Revo, and it is a very tough truck. I have not bashed it as hard as others, but it seems that the revo can hold its own when your bashing. I'm not gonna reccomend one or the other, because its more of a matter of opinion. I love my Revo, and I'm not dissapointed.
