What new rod?
There not having problems with the rod. they are doing updates on the 50 by replacing the crank and bearing. because they have had some assembled that did not go thur the full harding process on the crank's.
Your wrong, they did have rod problems,Crank and bearing problems. check some of the other threads. They have a new rod because the old one was not adaquate.
