Default RE: funtana .40 setup?

I am currently building my 3rd Funtana 40. The first had a Saito 72 in it with a 14-4W prop. It had enough power - but I wanted more vertical. The 2nd has a Saito 91 in it with a 15-4W prop. This power setup can do it all. I used a Saito motor mount, which required re drilling and installing new blind nuts. If you balance the plane to the specifications - it will require 2 to 2 1/2 ounces of weight in the tail.

One of my friends put a OS 50SX in his, only to replace it with a Saito 82 with a 14-4W. Which provided him with the power and flight characteristics he wanted. I strongly believe this plane was designed solely for a 4 stroke engine.

If you have any trouble building this plane - reply to this message. As I said, I am on my third plane and fixed a number of manufacturing / alignment problems.
