excuse me? there is 29.57 milliliters to the ounce
2.957 centiliters to the ounce

3.875 / 100 = 387.5 in my math book ...

1000 milliliters = 100 centiliters = 10 deciliters = 1 liter

also for converting cubic inches to cubic centimeters

1 cui = 16.38 cc
1 Liter = 61.05 cui

do the math ...

and if he has a 550cc gas tank he has an 185.99 ounce tank.

check your figures again Chuck ...

but I do agree this seem like maybe someone got the size of the tank wrong ... the original question was ...
How much does 550 cc's of gas weigh?
I used the approximation method to determine an answer due to the fact to give the exact weight calculation ... more data would have to been provided.

NEVERMIND ... I was having a SENIOR MOMENT .... got my C's mixed up ...

I hate when I do that
:stupid:

1 cubic centiliter = 10x10x10 milliliters = 1000 milliliters

A FATAL ID ten T (ID10T) error on my part ...

Now, I know why I live in the USofA ...
