Glad to hear it came back in one piece....

Actually, I always beef up the hardware regardless of whatever warranty there might be....Stock hardware is most often weaker than the stuff I use in the 1/4 scale.

And, I question *really* what warranty is for, in models.....If you build it and fly it, I have sensed a presumption on the part of many manufacturers to declare accidents the fault of the pilot, the building skills of the builder (whoever put together the ARF, for example), rather than the manufacturer (unless the manufacturer receives many complaints and similar accidents.

So, I start out with the idea that I need to bulletproof everything (so I can see a bigger pile on the ground later, if a mishap does occur...hehe)

My DP should be flying this weekend...hopefully....need to put the canopy on....LOL

A friend of mine has suggested that his canopy ripped on his first or second flight, and he ended up strengthening the bottom edge (where the bolts go through) with CA hinge material (the six or eight inch strips) glued along those edges...I have also done that, just in case....
