G3 Video Problems
I suspect, based on my own experiences, that the Great Plains G3 Support knew they had issues with specific video cards and went out of their way to hide it. Why? I don't know. It might have been because some of these video cards are fully DirectX 9.0 compatible and fully comply with the hardware requirements specified in the delivered G3 package. It might be the G3 software destributors were trying to prevent a massive recall of their product.
I am aware of at least one individual that complained about his G3 and made a lot of noise about it. He subsequently was offered and received a 100% refund of his purchase price and allowed to keep the product as long as he discontinued his public complaints. Why would the G3 developers do this? I wonder how many others were approached and silenced
