The only thing you have to check for, if you decide to use a dowel or CF tube, is will your stab be in the proper plane when you use the fixed dowel. In other words will using the fixed dowel will you have the proper incedence. Once you glue in the dowel that's what you've got, no way to change it to make the plane fly better. If you are going to fly for sport, not to compete, it might be just fine for your application. In my opinion, since it's seems to be already set up for adjusters, I'd give them a shot. If they don't work for you, give me a shout and I'll buy them from you, just to have in the shop.
