Thats good to here but that is not everything as far as communication is concerned, there is much much more.

A Small example:

Preflight discussion: what the flights purpose is.
Post Flight discussion: Discussing what was done, how it was done, and what to do about any mistakes that were noticed plus kudos on anything that was done correctly.

Kudos during the flight at appropiate times are always a good thing. Never ever tell a student, excuse me, a new student, say within 6 flights, anything negative during the flight as it will make them more nervous. The exception is a student that is a natural.
