I have one of these planes and I love it! If you are looking to get a biplane that you can have fun with and not worry too much about you might want to think about the kyosho tigermoth. Now its not an all out aerobatic machine but it is a fun little plane.on top of all this it flies on a 52 four stroke. and you will have alot less money in it. But if you are set on the pitts the I agree with the other posts about a 3.2 gas engine. I run an FPE 3.2 swinging a 22x10 and it will yank this plane off the ground at 18#'s. stay away from the u.s. engines for this plane because It will have enough power to fly it but it wont get you out of trouble.
