I take it I will have to add some material to the leading edge of the flap, or not make it move much.
Thanks for sharing your thought.
To do this, what is important is the location of flaps external hinge pivot point, my thought is it should be located directly under MAIN WING TE where the flap is joining to. because it will determine the droping travel of the flap LE. And for a aileron LE designed flap, this is even more caution not to cause slight spoiler effect when deploying down. Splotted flaps have slightly different LE design.
Again, this is just ONLY my thought...
