Default RE: Hovering GP Christen Eagle

Put me on that list for the hovering GP Christen Eagle II -- certainly won't be mine.

I'm thinking that besides needing a LIGHT-WEIGHT 50-60cc motor you may have problems because of the lack of significant-sized tail control surfaces. This is a heavy stubby bi-plane designed for conventional aerobatics -- it is definitely not Chip Hyde's Ultimate.

Mine:

GP Christen Eagle II
Fuji BT-50SA -w- spring starter
Bolley 20x10 carbon prop (7700rpm)
(4) Hitec HS-5645 airlon servos
(2) Hitec HS-5625 elevator servos
(1) Hitec HS-5975 rudder servo
(1) Hitec HS-425 throttle servo
(1) Hitec HS-81 choke servo
Futaba R148DP 8-channel PCM RX
18.5 pounds hanging from a fish scale.
