Not meaning to make lite of your request... but to pull the gear from the wing, cover over the hardwood blocks, put a piece of plywood in front of the wing to mount aluminum landing gear just accomplishes two things. You have increased the weight of the plane and just qualified that Kaos for the "Ugliest Kaos" contest. Anything can be done...after all, it's just balsawood.
