RE: New 81" GP Super Chipmunk
easton24, one thing to remember about the flaps. When you are landing with the flaps down and you have to do a missed approach, don't raise the flaps until you add some throttle for the go around and altitude, then raise the flaps. I almost learned this the hard way with a .40 size super chipmunk. I was about 2 feet above the runway when I needed to go back around so, I raised my flaps and landed the plane in the tall grass at the end of the strip! Just remember add throttle, pull in to a gentle climb, then when you have good altitude raise the flaps. Hope this helps
