I would suggest downloading FMS for free and try it. Then you will get an idea of what its about. If you just want to learn the controls its a great sim. There are dozens of planes on the net that you can download for free. [8D]
Definitely worth the free download. There are many downloadable planes all over the 'net.

The only problems I have had are with using downloaded scenery, some hang up the program...
It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of the $$$ sims, but it is the best intro to the rc flight sim genre... and it's freeware.
