Im not into 3d but a good pilot could hover it. It's like every other semi scale 540. The ailerons are pretty small for 3d the rudder might be big enough as well as the elevator. I would have to say if your into 3d you might be better off with a Funtana 40 and a 91FS. For sport flying the plane does it very well. Mine is powered with a 91XLS and although not over powered it has more then enough for anything i want to do.
