RE: Jef Raskin (1944-2005)
A friend just sent me the clipping about his death. I hated to see that he died. He was 61 and I am 62. 4 years ago I spent 3 months unconscious in intensive care after open heart surgery and a year in a wheel chair and rehab trying to walk again. I was given 2 years to live then. I can really feel for what he must have been going through in those later months. It makes everything you do seem so much sharper and defined and when it might be your last day you need to pack a heck of a lot into it.
One thing though, he certainly had a life that most of us would have loved to have experienced (especially with that marvelous mental capability), it was certainly not a boring 61 years.
