I'm not too worried specifically about the tailwheel mostly because this plane will land featherlight everytime, but the idea of the blindnuts certainly has merit and I'll probably do 4/40's since you can reach in from the access hatch.
The bit I used in the dremel has a head the size of a BB... littel big but worked just fine.
Hmmm a dark Russian dentist beauty... PLEASE don't tell me she cooks awesome too or I'll have to plain not like you no more...

Thanks for the pics David, I think your idea is the best. You must be using a tiny dentist bit. My fiance is a Dentist and loves grinding with a dremel. I think I'll put her on it.
How do you feel about the two tiny wood screws holding the tail wheel on? did you do anything different.?
As far as the main landing gear, I went with 6-32 hex head bolts instead of the heavier recomended 8-32. I think the tensil strength will be more than adaquate.
