Hey hockeyrules99... Well, No they were glued in place, But while
pulling on the control surface before start-up of the engine I saw
one(1) and a half of the next one split right down the center on
my ailerons on the wing tip side... If I went up with out my checks
who knows what could have happened... It's very simple and fast
to do, And as I said it WILL save you:-).... Plus at the field a fellow
club member maidened a delta type wing and lost one of the rudders
he landed with no problems, If he would have used the tug/pull before
the flight he most likely would have found it... How do I know.. Because
after he landed and on some of the CA hinged that were sticking out
of the vert. stab. of the missing rudder.. I pulled on it and it came right
out.... He said he CA'ed them good.... We just looked at him.. Then he
said well maybe I had a senior moment, and glued one side twice...
Have a Great Day
Another great day at the field!!!! This UCD just floats like a foamy,
Man, it is easy to fly!! I love it.... Now using a 14X4W and P.M. 20/
20 on the YS-63... She purrs like a kitten and my 8oz tanks is
lasting longer, I'm hardly ever above half throttle... And I think the
name is right(UCD).... I think I can do... At least so far of using
about two gals. But you know what they say.. It can get you in
trouble.... I can't wait for the Yak:-))))))))) It's a day or so away
