You can get a bandwidth check through Wingsnthings but I think that the guy only comes to do it last Thursday of the month or on a full moon or something like that. Hopefully we can work out something temporary for tomorrow, will need to check what the rules are though.

I would recommend getting Nicads, not least because I have no idea how long alkaline cells would last in a model. I have a spare Rx pack, I'll try and remember to charge them and bring them along. My planes are on charge now so the charger will be free tonight.

Just noticed that your radio is Futaba, mine is JR. Not sure if the battery connectors will hook up, I know that you have to play with Futaba servo connectors to get them to fit JR but never played with the battery connectors.
