I'm not an expert, but I belive a good pilot can do 3D with most kind of planes.
There are of course more suitable planes for extreme 3D such as Sukhoi, Edge, cap etc... But a low wing like the 4* should do OK.

E.g A pattern plane tracks very good, but it doesn't mean you can't fly straight with another type of plane, right?
