I am finishing the first half wing of the P51. I am asking how to fit the retract gear in the wing.
I have both a retract and a strut to assemble. The strut seems to me very long and it let only a short length of wire to fix them trough the adapter bushing (as mentioned in the robart documentation).
Since i have a strut i think i don't need the default wire with a round inside.
I draw on the picture what i think to do : reverse the wire in order to have a straight length (no round inside), then mount the strut on the wire. The wire length will be around 1 1/4.
Is it the right way for doing such assembling ?
