I'm always careful anymore of these "know-it-alls". We had a guy come to our field one time and he offered advice on corrections for any and all problems on engines, planes, radios or flying. You name it. I waited to see if he really could fly. He turned out to be one of the best pilots I've ever seen at our field. And he advise on everything it turned out was very sound. He had a big mouth, but really did know what he was talking about. He could really back it up! But alas. He moved out of State and we never again could take advantage of his knowledge.
