RE: What brand of Dago Red is this?
I just recently purchased a World Models ARF .46 Dago Red, and so far so good... its done three flights now, and i can say that the first two were both 1 in a million flights... it seems someone doesn't want this plane in the air lol first flight the brand new elevator servo died two turns after take off, thankfully it was stuck with about 5% up elevator enough to see it swoop around and somehow land perfectly... second flight with another new servo, get this... all four servo mount screws pulled completely out of the servo tray leaving the elevator servo floating... the only thing keep it in the air this time was that the servo sat snug in its mount and only had about 5-10% control in each direction... yet tho another perfect landing... flight three was different tho and it flew very well, im running a .52 in it and its almost too fast, it really hauls some serious speed straight line, so i think i am going to step down to an 0s46AX this weekend... the only thing i am a bit worried about is the vibration received through the fibreglass fuselage, and as a result i have had a few glitchs whislt flying and am looking at ways i can reduce the vibration. I am thinking atm of putting a piece of 1mm rubber between the engine mounts and firewall, and also under each servo mount also.
But as a whole its not to bad, landings are very easy and can be handled very slow if need be, and even on very low rates its still very responsive.
