The midair was at N Dallas field. Took off straight into a hover at about 25 feet, blap! Mine fell straight down, his crashed over the runway. "stuff" happens.

So tragic. The scratch built F-4 twin turbine did not fare so well. As he came across the runway at over 130 mph, I popped into a hover.........bang, got hit square on!! I managed to hover my crippled profile back and caught it in midair. It lost its pulse shorlty thereafter, and fell to pieces. It put up a good fight.
