Default RE: I Put Ailrons on my Slow Stick

you will fine, the motor you mentioned will be a great powerplant for the slow stick, what i mean was the hollow underside of the wing seems to make it fly at a certain speed and adding more power just doesnt seem to make it faster, or even lift any better, at least with the limited experiments i have done with power so far. thats why i opted to experiment more with the wing 1st. the brushless power i am going to try is the eflite 370 outrunner and no gear since its a 1360rpm/volt motor it runs perfect with a 8 x 4 apc elec prop. i like this because it bolts right onto the gws motor mount and with no gear i save a couple ounces too. but your motor should be a perfect match also, with MUCH more power than stock as well. when you fly, try maybe using half throttle for takoff and flying, maybe even less once you get altitude, just guessing though. oh, also, the slow stick is GREATLY affected by weight, how big are your 3c lipo's? i found my slow stick was much easier to learn on when i used a real light pack.
