I've got a video on my PC from the delta airframe DAYTONA KID posted a picture of. That particular day on a show in Germany the guy was "cruising around" at about 450 kph (280 mph)... but the weather was very hot, so he didn't reach max thrust/speed...
It was still PLENTY fast, I can tell you that much...!

Also, there's a guy in Germany that claims to have reached 561 kph (348 mph) with one of these delta things... he got the result using GPS... but I bet he wasn't "cruising" at that speed
