In what way do you mean too much engine? Too heavy? The Saito 91 is lighter than a two stroke 61. Too much power? Fly it at 3/4 throttle. You should only use full throttle for verticals anyway.

Actually, the 91 four stroke is a perfect engine for the MK I Kwik Fly.

And for anyone who is interested, the MK I on floats was one of the best float planes ever. Unfortunately, the MK II is too heavy to be really good on floats.
