My VectorFlight Edge 540 came in at 8lbs 8 oz with the Saito 100. Now that is not a real good weight if your main thing is 3D flying, but 8lbs 8oz for a 66" ws Edge 540 is not to shabby of a wing loading for some very nice Aerobatic Flying. I don't think these Planes were designed to compete against Funtana's, and UCanDo's, but are designed for the same purpose as other Scale Aerobatic Planes in its Class like the Extra, Giles, Cap, Sukhoi, etc. which were designed after there Scale counterparts before 3D Flying was an actual Flying Style.
