Are your wheels spinning at neutral? Or when you get it to fire up? .check clutch springs.

Another reason is the clutchbell screw is screwed too tight in and yr truck stalls each time you stop.and you can't get the right idle and the motor is spinning your wheels but the brakes are on and thus the motor dies.
