I think lots of people are worried about CA hinges failing by breaking off after fatiguing from a large engines vibration on the large control surfaces(not pulling out of the wood). Personally I think something like a Saito 180 would be harder on these than a big 150 twin gasser. I've had very good luck with the Great Planes CA hinges on up to 120 size(no breaks in 7 years on a very active plane). Never tried them on any bigger planes. I think the round pinned hinges would be easier to install on a big plane.
