ca hinges on a 40% Edge ? YIKES! That will last from about 12:00 - noon !!

Start running ca with big planes 1/4 scale and up with large engines especially gas.. You will be very dissapointed you did.
My buddy has a midwest cap with a quadra42. He used ca hinges and after less than 20 flights the left side elevator hinges broke. It did not pull out with wood stuck to the ends. They broke right in the center where they pivot.
Large engines rattle the surfaces more than smaller engines, even when you balance the prop. It's the rotating assembly that's not perfectly balanced and also alot of spinners aren't balanced either.

Large control surfaces that deflect lots of air and weigh more than small surfaces will eventually destroy CA hinges. Been there done.

For smaller airplanes they are ok..
