Robat hinges are very easy to install, all you have to do is drill a hole on the center line.
Just make sure you have wood the entire length of the hinge point. Few models have enough wood in the trailing edge of the wing to prevent the end of the hinge from going all the way through into the wing. I always install a small piece of hard balsa behind the area I'm going to place a hinge. This also prevents the glue from running through the hole into the wing where it does no good.
