More like if you don't want to learn, find another way to spend your money. It takes a lot less effort to ask someone for help if you don't know how to tune it than it does to do it wrong and burn up an engine running way too lean. There has to be someone around that can help you tune it right so you don't ruin the engine. Makes a big difference
