RE: What is a plane that is small enough/ slow enough to fly in my front yard?
I've got a great planes yardstick. It flys slow and turns well. It will take of in about 10-15 ft. given it's a fairly smooth surface. It isn't the smallest plane but smaller isn't necessarily better. It was my first plane (had it over a year) and all i managed to break on it was some props and i punched a quarter sized hole in the covering. It's very durable due to the carbon fiber leading\trailing edges on the wings. It literally snaps together in under in hour.
