When I ordered RealFlight G2 I ordered the Mode 2 version. I'm not 100% sure but I think it has to do with the throttle stick being on the left. The throttle stick is not spring loaded (at least not the up and down motion).

Again, I'm not sure but the Mode 2 works just like my Hitec radio.
