Oh yes, I have the same plane, and am thinking about modifying the tail, especially the elevator. It seems that your elevator surface is thicker than the horizontal stab. I was considering doing a 2-piece elevator, and have rudder go down between elevators to the bottom. The provided elevator does seem thin, and I read it broke off on someone's SS 40. This is where those tails from the crashed planes come in handy. And yes, I reckon we need the serovs in the back to balance off the heavy engine.
I have an Enya 155 4 stroke, but I wasn't sure about the prop clearance for a large prop. So is 16" the largest prop you can put w/o scratching the prop?
