I thought these had all been scrapped. Remember Exchange & Mart advertising minidresses made from TSR2 circuit boards? Where was this?

It first flew in 1964 but was scrapped in 1965 due to rising research costs by the incoming Labour government who ordered all jigs and tooling to be destroyed. In fact most problems had been resolved so the decision to scrap it was mainly political. Only the first of 4 completed aircraft was actually flown.
You can see this aircraft at Cosford Aircraft Museum open daily 10 - 4 pm admission free. It's well worth a visit.
