Default Metal clevis on throttle cable bad?

Why is it that Dubro sells throttle assemblies with metal clevis then? Would it make sense to dip the clevis in some liquid plastic or something? I've got metal clevis on 2 planes. Never had a radio glitch and my Hitec RXs range check better than others with Futaba RXs at my field.

Thanks!
